This podcast assignment explored the effects of transitioning all U.S. vehicles from gas-powered to electric. It looked at the issue through environmental science, economics, and sociology. The script for the podcast discusses emissions reduction, battery production effects, cost barriers, and the social resistance from the public. This shows my ability to apply an interdisciplinary mindset to a real-world issue. It shows that I am able to communicate my
complex ideas clearly across multiple disciplines.

This presentation was about a role-play simulation for young English learners aged 5–8. Students are tasked to take on roles in a classroom city environment and practice
communication through having real-life interactions. The project is based on language acquisition theory and talks about scaffolding, input, and output. This demonstrates my
ability to design an educational activity and apply language
acquisition theory to a real classroom.

This chapbook was a collection of classic poetry that looked at themes of strength, identity, time, and resilience. My introduction and reflection paragraphs connect these
poems to the shared themes of human experience. This demonstrates my ability to curate, organize, and analyze multiple literary texts. Even across multiple time periods.

This essay analyzes the rhetorical situation of an opinion piece that was written about the Comstock Act and
abortion rights after Roe v. Wade. It focuses mainly on the exigence, audience, kairos, and credibility using the
implementation of Bitzer’s theory. I included this because it
shows my ability to analyze rhetoric and explain how the timing and audience is able to shape someone’s arguments.
