Reflecting on this academic journey of mine, I've realized that much of my growth has come from learning through uncertainty and change. From leaving home to play football, dealing with numerous injuries, and changing majors multiple times, each of these experiences has helped me better understand myself and what I truly wanted from my education. I originally believed that my future was gonna relate to computer science or construction management, but over time I discovered that I was more passionate about critical thinking, communication, and understanding a variety of ideas from multiple perspectives. Studying interdisciplinary studies and English have allowed me to connect these interests of mine while developing a stronger base of analytical and writing skills. My experiences here at Colorado State University have taught me the importance of adaptability and being open to new directions and ideas even when life does not go according to plan. As I move forward beyond my undergraduate experience, I hope to keep applying the lessons, resilience, and perspectives that I've collected throughout this journey to whatever opportunities come next for me.
